Restorative treatment is one of the primary and basic dental treatments. The minimum practical skills expected from the graduates, from the first moment of meeting the patient to the end of treatment, include proper dealing with him/her, taking of appropriate medical history information, observance of individual hygiene during the work in case of having systemic diseases, the correct diagnosis of caries, designing proper treatment plan with respect to caries risk, training patients to reduce caries risk, and regular follow-ups of high-risk individuals.
